Former New Jersey State Renewable Energy Official Brings Deep Experience in Both Public Policy and Private Industry
PENNINGTON, N.J.-- Sept. 9, 2004-- WorldWater Corporation (OTC BB: WWAT - News) announced today that it has signed renewable energy veteran Cassandra Kling to fill its newly-created position of Director of Business Development, Eastern U.S.
Ms. Kling, formerly the Renewable Energy Program Manager for the New Jersey Clean Energy Program within the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities, has years of experience in the solar and renewable energy arena. She has extensive experience creating and directing sustainable energy programs and policies, including overseeing and administering more than $100 million in annually funded programs. Formerly a director at the Office of Sustainable Business in the New Jersey Department of Commerce, Ms. Kling has an extensive business background in energy efficiency, renewable energy generation, and environmentally sustainable building practices. She has become a well-known advocate for advancing the implementation of these practices at both the state and national levels.

Ms. Kling received the Government Leadership Award from the American Solar Energy Society this July, and the New Jersey Renewable Energy Programs she created received national awards from both the solar and wind industries this past year. Ms. Kling also has extensive energy experience with private industry, and has worked as a consultant advising in all aspects of implementation of solar power and other renewable sources.
