Revenues for the fourth quarter increased by 109% to C$447,012 compared to C$213,967 in the fourth quarter of 2002. Fourth quarter gross profits increased by 83% to C$116,388 compared to C$63,648 in Q4 2002. Net loss for Q4 2003 was C$351,455 or a loss of C$0.04 per share compared to C$339,508 and for a loss of C$0.04 per share in Q4 2002.
For the full year ended December 31, 2003, revenues increased by 83% to C$2,193,741 compared to C$1,199,987 in 2002. Gross profits increased by 56% to C$445,832 compared to C$285,291 in 2002. Net loss for 2003 was C$1,196,807 for a loss of C$0.14 per share compared to C$1,035,128 for a loss of C$0.15 per share in 2002.
R&D expenses for 2003 increased by C$202,586 to C$321,392, compared to C$118,806 in 2002. R&D expenses included C$86,668 in Q4 2003 and C$149,167 for the full year towards developing the Company"s proprietary thin film photovoltaic technology at the University of Toronto.
