Wild Oats Markets, Inc. , a leading national natural and organic foods retailer, today announced Peter Waldman has been named Store Director of the Littleton, Colo. store, set to open November 12, 2003. He will lead a team of approximately 150 store employees to bring the highest quality natural, organic and gourmet food and products to the people of Littleton.
"We""re delighted to open our first new store in the Denver metropolitan area since 1999 and have Peter as our leader for the new Littleton team," said Perry Odak, President and CEO of Wild Oats Markets. "He brings both leadership and enthusiasm to the team and we look forward to filling additional positions in the Littleton store."
Mr. Waldman brings more than 20 years of experience in the natural foods supermarket industry. Most recently, he was the Central Region Operations Specialist for Wild Oats stores. Prior to joining Wild Oats, Mr. Waldmann worked at Whole Foods Market in Texas and Mrs. Gooch""s Natural Foods Markets in Southern California.
