The appointment of Mr. Petty is an addition to FuelCell Energy"s board and brings the total number of directors to 12.
Mr. Petty is a former president and chief executive officer of Telus Corporation, a Canadian telecommunications company. Before assuming the leadership at Telus in 1994, he was vice president of Global Business Services for AT&T and chairman of the board of World Partners, the Global Telecom Alliance. Mr. Petty is also a past corporate director of CAE Incorporated, a Canada-based provider of integrated training solutions and advanced simulation and controls technologies to civil aviation, military and marine customers. He is also a past member of the Board of Governors of the University of Calgary, the Business Council of British Columbia and the Business Council on National Issues.

In November 2003, Enbridge became a distributor of FuelCell Energy Direct FuelCell(R) power plants in Canada.
