18.10.2002: Meldung: Natural Alternatives International Awarded GMP Registration
The NSF Dietary Supplements Certification Program provides manufacturers a means to become independently registered as conforming to GMP requirements. GMP requirements are regulatory requirements that provide guidelines for necessary processes, procedures and documentation to assure the product produced has the identity, strength, composition, quality and purity it is represented to possess. NSF conducted extensive plant audits at the NAI facilities in San Marcos and Vista, California to verify NAI"s compliance with GMP. NAI will undergo periodic audits to maintain this registration. Contract manufacturers of dietary supplements that comply with GMP requirements are listed on the NSF web site. NAI"s listing can be viewed at: (http://www.nsf.org/certified/gmp/listings.asp?certname=Natural+Alternatives)
Mark LeDoux, NAI Chairman and CEO, said, "We are thrilled with this registration and with NSF"s independent validation of our compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices. Our commitment to quality as evidenced by the NSF registration truly segregates NAI from many other companies in our industry. At NAI quality is part of the process as well as the finished product." "NAI"s GMP registration demonstrates their continued commitment to quality and to customer satisfaction," said Ray Jaglowski, NSF Vice President, New Business Development. "I would like to congratulate NAI on becoming one of the first companies to receive GMP registration."
Mr. LeDoux also said, "In addition to our GMP registration with NSF, NAI has been certified by the Therapeutic Goods Administration of Australia ("TGA") for a number of years. The combined approval of NSF and TGA further assures our customers of a continuing commitment to quality and independent verification of our processes."
