BEDFORD, Mass - Nov. 17, 2005--Spire Corporation announced today that it has appointed J.v.G. Thoma GmbH, of Freystadt, Germany as its European sales and service representative in response to increased demand for solar photovoltaic manufacturing equipment. J.v.G. Thoma is currently participating in a comprehensive equipment training program at Spire"s Bedford headquarters. Mr. Wolfram Jenne, who has also provided service support for Spire within Europe for the last 5 years, will continue in that function and augment J.v.G. Thoma"s service capabilities.
