WATERBURY, Vt-Robert P.Stiller, President and CEO of Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Inc. today accepted the Dale Carnegie Global Leadership Award on behalf of the Company"s employees at a ceremony in Waterbury, Vermont. Michael Crom, Dorothy Carnegie"s grandson and representing Dale Carnegie and Associates, presented this award to Mr. Stiller which recognizes companies that are "committed and dedicated to improving their performance by developing their people." To date, only 30 companies around the world have received this prestigious award, including Keyspan Energy, General Motors Powertrain, Cinergy, Autopal (Czech Republic), Hormel Foods, Coca Cola Beverages (Slovakia), and
Labour Ready (Canada).

Vermont Training Solutions, Inc., which provides Dale Carnegie Training, nominated Green Mountain Coffee Roasters for this award. Founded in 1912, Dale Carnegie Training connects proven solutions with real world problems to bring out the best in people. The training has given over 6 million individuals around the world the opportunity to improve their communication and leadership skills. Since 1992, over 100 Green Mountain Coffee Roasters employees have graduated from Dale Carnegie Training provided by Vermont Training Solutions, Inc.
