Ian MacLellan, President and CEO of ARISE said that, "while we are not
pleased with these results, management and the board of directors have taken
concrete steps to change our business strategy to deal with the changes and
new opportunities in the renewable energy marketplace. Dealing with the
shortages in solar modules as the result of the high growth in Germany, Japan
and the US has been our biggest challenge over the last year. We continue
to make progress on the previously announced Letter of Intent to sell
SolarSense.com to Geosign and we expect to close the transaction in the
second quarter. This transaction will help our balance sheet, improve cash
flow and help us focus on our core business. We will be presenting our updated
strategic plan to our shareholders at our Annual General Meeting which will be
held in Kitchener at ARISE on Tuesday, June 28, 2005 at 4:30 PM."
