$500,000 System for Allen Family Foods of Delaware

Project Will Serve as Solar Study for U.S. Poultry Industry
Partners Include University of Delaware and GE Energy

PENNINGTON, N.J., Dec. 19, 2006 -- WorldWater & Power Corp., developer and marketer of proprietary high-power solar systems, announced today that it has won a $500,000 contract from Allen Family Foods, Inc. to build a photovoltaic (PV) system to power an Allen poultry growout house in Laurel, Delaware. Growout houses are highly energy dependent in taking day-old chicks and raising them to maturity.

In Delaware, the cost of grid electricity has increased significantly over the past 12 months and the industry is looking to solar as a cost effective, sustainable energy source for the future of growout contractors throughout the U.S. The Delaware Green Energy Program has granted $250,000 to help fund the system, the University of Delaware will monitor the Allen project and GE Energy, the PV panel supplier, will contribute to the project evaluation study. Ray Angelini, Inc. (RAI) of Sewell, New Jersey is WorldWater"s installation partner.

The poultry industry is one of the largest employers in Delaware, with some counties having the highest concentration of growout houses in the U.S. WorldWater"s solar system will significantly reduce Allen"s electricity costs and provide backup power in the event of grid outages to maintain the temperatures critical to large numbers of growing chickens.

Allen Family Foods, a third-generation family owned company, has been in the poultry business since 1919. Today it employs over 3,000 people in Delaware, Maryland and North Carolina. Along with breeding and hatching facilities, feed mills and processing plants, Allen has a farming division that produces feed grains, 28 company-owned growout farms and coordinates with 550 independent contractors that raise chicks for Allen.

Charles C. ``Chick"" Allen III, Chairman and CEO of Allen Family Foods, commented on the project, ``I was happy to have the opportunity to collaborate on a research project that has the potential to reduce costs for these growers. I want to do anything I can to maintain the economic viability of the Delmarva poultry industry.""

Quentin T. Kelly, Chairman of WorldWater & Power Corp., stated, ``We are delighted to have this opportunity to demonstrate how WorldWater & Power"s patented technology is uniquely suited to address the broad spectrum of electrical needs that a poultry farm presents in both a cost effective and environmentally friendly manner.""
