SatCon Technology Corporation® (Nasdaq:SATC - News), a leader in critical power solutions, today announced that its Electronics division received $1.7 million in defense contracts, including a $1.2 million order from a major military contractor for high-reliability electronic modules that will be used for satellite communications. These electronic assemblies provide power to transmitters used by the Army, Navy and Air Force for battlefield communications. The balance of the orders is for miscellaneous communication and control electronics.
