21.6.2007: Meldung: AMSC Announces Filing of Registration Statement for Public Offering

American Superconductor Corporation, a leading energy technologies company, announced today that it has filed a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission for a proposed public offering of 4,700,000 shares of its common stock. Morgan Stanley will act as bookrunner for the offering. Co-managers of the offering will be Jefferies & Company, Inc. and Needham & Company, LLC. The offering will include an option for the underwriters to purchase up to an additional 705,000 shares to cover over-allotments, if any.

A registration statement relating to these securities has been filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission but has not yet become effective. These securities may not be sold nor may offers to buy be accepted prior to the time the registration statement becomes effective.
