Ondeo Industrial Solutions has signed a 20-year contract for the Complete Water Management of the BP Grangemouth refining and petrochemicals complex in Scotland with total revenues of 120 M €.

Under this agreement, Ondeo Industrial Solutions UK Ltd will provide services to BP Grangemouth covering the areas of cooling water, process water and wastewater, including operations & maintenance, water supply management, optimisation and development projects for the entire site.

Ondeo Industrial Solutions is committed to helping industrial users improve performance, control quality and better manage the industrial water cycle.

In the UK, Ondeo Industrial Solutions has a number of existing contracts with clients such as, BOC, Chevron Texaco, Scottish Courage Brewing and Bairds Malt, and has integrated management system accreditation under ISO9001:2000, ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001.

The Complete Water Management offer provides its customer with increased reliability and availability of its water services and sustainable environmental compliance by reducing water consumption of the site.

BP is one of the world"s largest oil companies. It operates in around 100 countries worldwide and has over 110,000 employees. The BP Grangemouth site is located approximately 35 km west of Edinburgh. The complex receives and processes 40% of the UK"s daily crude oil production from the North Sea (up to one million barrels of oil per day) and is also a major Scottish port. The site currently employs over 1,700 people.
