24.1.2007: Meldung: SunTechnics opens new office in California

SunTechnics Energy Systems, Inc., the U.S. division of the renewable energy engineering and installation company SunTechnics, is expanding its business operations in Southern California with the opening of an office in Carlsbad, 35 miles from sunny San Diego.
"Homeowners can generate up to 100% of their electricity needs using a solar system. That means that, of course, they can nearly eliminate their electric bill", says Florian Edler, CEO of SunTechnics USA. "Our customers receive renewable energy systems from one source - from advising, planning, financing, installation, through to maintenance."
Regional Manager Marcus Maedl, leads the sales and operations office to support SunTechnics residential and commercial customers in the region. Maedl, who co-founded BESAmerica Inc. and spent the past four years developing photovoltaic projects in Germany and California, has 15 years of sales, operations, and business development experience in a number of different industries, including silicon wafer manufacturing.

"I am looking forward to this new challenge and very excited to be part of the SunTechnics Group, supported by an excellent team of solar professionals. Southern California, with a population of 25 million and strong economic growth is a very promising market for renewables. My team and I expect to play a crucial role in its development and also help to increase our Group"s market share in the USA." explains Maedl.

With the opening of the Carlsbad office, the acquisition in late 2006 of former D&J Electric Inc. near Redding, headquarters in Sacramento, and sales representatives in all major areas of the state, SunTechnics is now well positioned in the leading solar market of California, which accounts for 75 percent of all installations in the U.S.

In order to provide local, professional customer service to the growing pool of residential and commercial customers, SunTechnics will continue to open offices across the U.S., starting shortly in Pennsylvania, where it will share facilities with its renewable energy project development and finance sister company, Epuron.
