2.8.2005: Meldung: Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Hires New Vice President of Sales

Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Inc. today announced it has hired James Travis as Vice President of Sales, effective August 15, 2005. Mr. Travis brings more than 19 years of sales, trade marketing and business leadership experience within the consumer packaged foods industry. He has a proven track record of building successful teams and driving strong business results. Mr. Travis will report to Scott McCreary, Chief Operating Officer of Green Mountain.


"Jim brings outstanding sales and management experience to Green Mountain Coffee. We are particularly impressed by his broad management record of success in developing new business in emerging markets," said Mr. McCreary. "He is a seasoned executive who will bring valuable insights into leveraging our multiple channel growth strategy. I welcome Jim"s expertise and support in leading the organization and helping us to maximize our opportunities for growth."

Mr. Travis joins Green Mountain Coffee from Ocean Spray Cranberries, Inc. where he has been National Sales Manager. During his 10 years at Ocean Spray, he also held positions in customer management, category management, trade marketing and emerging markets. His previous experience includes sales management positions with Del Monte Foods.
