KANSAS CITY, Mo--Sept. 27, 2005--Kansas City Southern (KCS) Board of Directors today declared a cash dividend of $5.3125 per share on its outstanding 4.25% Redeemable Cumulative Convertible Perpetual Preferred Stock. The dividend will be payable on November 15, 2005, to stockholders of record at the close of business on November 1, 2005.
