Company to Conduct Conference Call to Update Shareholders on Operations
CAMBRIDGE, Mass.-- Aug. 28, 2003--SatCon Technology Corporation© (Nasdaq NM: SATC - News), a developer and manufacturer of electronic power control systems, today announced that it"s S-3 Registration Statement, originally filed on March 20, 2003, has been declared effective by the SEC. This will allow the Company to close the debt portion of its financing transaction begun earlier this year. We anticipate that this transaction will close shortly with the Company receiving net proceeds of approximately $750,000. In addition, David Eisenhaure, president and chief executive officer, will host a conference call on Wednesday, September 3rd at 10:00 a.m. EDT to update shareholders on the Company"s operations.
