DALLAS, Jan. 29 -- eiStream, Inc. and Eastman Kodak Company today announced an agreement allowing eiStream to resell a co- branded version of Kodak""s popular production scanning software, Kodak Capture Software.

The co-branded product, Kodak Capture Software for eiStream Systems, is optimized for use with eiStream""s imaging, workflow and case management applications. The software is available immediately through eiStream.

Providing robust functionality and production level scanning performance, Kodak Capture Software for eiStream Systems takes advantage of innovative Kodak scanner features such as auto-rotation for fast scanner throughput, auto-delete to eliminate pre-sorting, and on-the-fly de-skew and auto-crop functions for superior image cleanup.

"This agreement will allow eiStream customers to fully leverage the features of Kodak""s scanner portfolio to further enhance benefits received from their workflow systems," said Michael Bida, worldwide product marketing manager, Kodak""s Commercial Imaging business.

"Many eiStream imaging and workflow customers already use Kodak document scanners. This agreement enables us to integrate a premier capture solution with our industry leading imaging and workflow software providing our customers with a customized end-to-end eiStream solution," said John Oldham, vice president of sales and marketing at eiStream.

eiStream will integrate Kodak Capture Software for eiStream Systems with its image-enabled work management solutions and include enhanced options for document release, specialized routing, and scanned images security integrity features. In addition to delivering seamless product level integration between capture and business process management systems, eiStream will provide support, training and consulting services for the co-branded product.
