Trojan Technologies Inc. Announces Normal Course Issuer Bid

LONDON, ON, June 4 / - Trojan Technologies Inc. ("Trojan") (TUV:TSX) announced today that the Toronto Stock Exchange (the "TSX") has approved Trojan"s normal course issuer bid effective June 6, 2003. Trojan has been authorized to purchase up to 5% of its public float in the twelve-month period following the bid"s effective date. The number of common shares of Trojan currently outstanding is approximately 22 million. Trojan expects to purchase its common shares at certain times over the course of the year when it believes that the share price is attractive and that the purchase of common shares would be an appropriate use of corporate funds in light of potential benefits to remaining Trojan shareholders.

Purchases under the bid may commence on June 6, 2003 and will terminate on June 5, 2004, or on such earlier date as Trojan may complete its purchases pursuant to its notice of intention to make a normal course issuer bid filed with the TSX. Purchases will be made on the open market by Trojan through the facilities of the TSX in accordance with the rules and policies of the exchange. The price that Trojan will pay for any such shares will be the market price of such shares on the TSX at the time of acquisition. Common shares purchased under the bid will be cancelled.

Trojan designs, manufactures and sells UV systems for municipal wastewater and drinking water facilities, as well as for the industrial, commercial and residential markets. The company also provides UV treatment for the removal of toxic chemicals from water. With over 3,000 municipal facilities in more than 25 countries using its technology, Trojan has the largest installed base of UV systems in the world.
