6.11.2003: Meldung: Green Mountain: Publix Adding Newman"s Own Organics Fair Trade Coffees

Coffee Roasters, Inc. (NASDAQ:GMCR) today announced that Publix Super Markets, Inc. is adding six varieties of Newman"s Own(R) Organics coffees to the grocery shelves of its 776 stores in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, and Tennessee. With over 119,500 employees, Publix(R) is the largest employee-owned retail grocery chain in the United States.
All Publix stores will be offering packages of the complete line of Newman"s Own Organics coffees, including Nell"s Breakfast Blend, Newman"s Colombian Especial, Newman"s French Roast, Newman"s Special Blend, Newman"s Special Decaf (SWP), and Newman"s Cafe Almond Biscotti. All six organic coffees are Fair Trade Certified(TM) by TransFair USA, and guarantee small-scale coffee farmers and their families with a fair and sustainable price for their crop.
