6.2.2004: Meldung: Hydrogenics Secures First Order For HyPM
For this contract, Hydrogenics will deliver a HyPM 10 power module specially designed to run in combination with the customer""s proprietary reformer technology. The system will be installed and operated at the customer""s site, and serviced locally through Hydrogenics"" Japan Branch Office in Tokyo.
"This is our first sale of a HyPM power module in Japan, and working with this important client, one of Japan""s largest corporations, is an important step into this market for Hydrogenics," Pierre Rivard, President and Chief Executive Officer, Hydrogenics said. "As well, by developing a clean power generation system around a reformer, we hope to increase the number of potential fuel sources, which will expand our opportunities to work with companies in the oil and gas industry."
Hydrogenics"" HyPM power modules are clean power generators that require only hydrogen fuel to produce DC electrical power. In addition to a fuel cell stack, the power module includes the associated components, subsystems and control software required to produce clean electricity.
Hydrogenics Corporation ( http://www.hydrogenics.com/ ) is a leading clean power generation company, engaged in the commercialization of fuel cell technology and test stations for fuel cells. The company is building a sustainable business, in a potentially "game changing technology" for transportation, stationary and portable power. Hydrogenics, based in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, has operations in British Columbia, Canada, Japan, the United States and Germany.
