6.8.2003: Meldung: IMPCO Names New Chief Financial Officer
IMPCO Technologies, Inc. announced the promotion of Timothy Stone to the position of Chief Financial Officer, succeeding Brian Olson who left the company.
Tim Stone joined IMPCO in February 2000 and served as Corporate Controller prior to his present position. While at IMPCO, Mr. Stone has had a leading role in matters concerning financing, SEC and NASDAQ financial reporting regulations. Prior to joining IMPCO, Mr. Stone consulted for the Capital Guardian Trust Company in their Personal Investment Management division and was a Financial Institution Examiner with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Robert M. Stemmler, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, stated, "We welcome Tim in his new capacity as Chief Financial Officer and are very fortunate to have him a part of the IMPCO team. Tim knows our business and industry very well, provides solid financial expertise and valuable knowledge of SEC reporting regulations, and will play a major role in implementing our profit strategy for the future growth of our company in the rapidly expanding alternative fuels markets."
Mr. Stone received a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from California State University Long Beach and a Masters of Business Administration in finance and economic policy from the University of Southern California. Mr. Stone is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) as well as a member of the Association of Investment Management and Research and member and previous director of the Orange County Society of Investment Managers.
