Calpine Corporation announced a public secondary offering of 20,000,000 shares of its common stock by Harbinger Capital Partners Master Fund I, Ltd. In addition, Harbinger intends to grant the underwriter an option to purchase an additional 3,000,000 shares. The company will not receive any proceeds from this offering.
Morgan Stanley is acting as the sole underwriter for the offering.
