Spire Corporation, a global solar company providing turnkey solar factories and capital equipment to manufacture photovoltaic modules worldwide, today announced that it will postpone its third-quarter 2008 earnings announcement previously scheduled for today. The Company is delaying the earnings announcement because it is evaluating the timing of revenue recognition with respect to a single multi-element contract with one customer and analyzing its impact, if any, on prior periods. Once the Company has completed its overall review, it will release its third-quarter 2008 financial results.
