Worldwide Energy and Manufacturing: Three New Customers
Worldwide Energy and Manufacturing USA, Inc., a U.S.-based solar module technology and China manufacturing company specializing in products for customers in the solar energy, aerospace, wireless telecommunications, medical equipment and automotive industries, today announced the signing of three new customers with contracts totaling $760,000. The new orders are expected to add to revenues and earnings in the fourth quarter of 2009 and continuing through 2010.
Shanghai Intech Electric and Electronics Co. Ltd., one of Worldwide Energy's China-based manufacturing subsidiaries, signed a new customer, Shanxi Guangyu Power Supply Co., Ltd., to an initial $600,000 contract for LED power supply products. Additionally, Shanghai Intech Precision Mechanical Products Manufacturing Co. Ltd., a wholly owned China-based subsidiary, added two new customers -- Shanghai Wuteng Hardware Factory and Su Zhou Weitang Metal Factory -- for die-casting contracts totaling $160,000.
Jimmy Wang, chief executive officer of Worldwide Energy and Manufacturing, stated: "We are very excited about adding these three new customers. Though our solar division is experiencing rapid growth and accounts for over 78% of our revenues, we continue to add new customers to our contract manufacturing division."
"The quality of our precision-made parts and our superior turnaround time gives us a strong competitive advantage," continued Wang. "We expect that the contract with Shanxi Guangyu, a major power supplier in the Shanghai area, will add to our fourth quarter 2009 revenues and in 2010. We also expect the two new die-casting customers to add at least 20% to revenues and earnings of our die-casting factory in this year's fourth quarter and in 2010."
